4 x 4 Snowmen cards

Quick post to get this logged onto the blog. I like to be able to look back at what I have created and every year, I seem to skip Christmas postings as I am too busy crafting. So there won't be much of a write up, just the pics for me to look back on. Sorry about the poor photos. It was dark out and the lighting wouldn't work for me today. I also couldn't get pics of all 4 cards, which is what the group one can show.

Cardstock: Gina K
Designer Paper: My Mind's Eye, Echo Park
Stamps: CTMH (snowmen) , Paper Smooches (greetings)
Markers: copic
Gems: CTMH

HI THERE FRIENDS!! I would like to thank Madeline at Inking from the Heart for nominating me for the Liebster Award!! Woohoo!! Thank you Madeline! :) It was a wonderful surprise when I was posting to my blog today! It doesn't take much to get me excited and I have to say this is a thrill.

In order to accept the Liebster Award, I have to pass it along to 5 other bloggers with 200 followers or less. It's a fantastic way to discover great blogs!

These are some details everyone should know about this award:

Liebster is a German word meaning "Beloved," "Favorite," or "Dearest." This award is a peer to peer award in which fellow bloggers present the award to their favorite bloggers with less than 200 followers. The origins of this award is unclear, but is believed to have originated by a German blogger. This award was designed to be a blog award in the pay it forward fashion to share your dearest and most beloved blogs that have less than 200 followers.

Thank the person who gave you the award and link back to their blog. Post the award onto your blog. Give the award to five bloggers who you appreciate that have less than 200 followers. Leave a comment on their blog letting them know that you have given them this awesome award!

Here are the five fantabulous blogs that have less than 200 followers that I would like to pass the Liebster Award onto:
  1. Simply Paper Crafts - Meihsia
  2. Sunny Summer Crafts - Asha
  3. Crafty Lizs Creations - Liz
  4. Cream City Angels - Debra
  5. Molecraft - Helen

Thanks for stopping in and sharing my joy!!!! Have a great rest of the day!

Country Happy Birthday

Today's card was "cased" from Theresa Momber's awesome Autumn Windmill Tutorial. I substituted a few different products, but followed her tutorial fairly closely. I just love all the work she does with her inked backgrounds that I needed to give it a try. I had trouble creating the clouds, but overall am pleased with the result. Definitely need more sponge daubers.

Supplies Used:

Stamps: Country Roads, Birthday Greetings - Gina K
Paper: Gina K
Ink: Memento, CTMH, Tim Holtz Distress Ink

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Challenges 4 Everybody - anything goes
Dream Valley Challenges - anything goes
Scrapper's Delights Challenge - anything goes
One Stop Craft Challenge - anything goes
Make It Monday - anything goes

Today I am sharing a wedding card. I was going for simple and elegant and being such a big fan of color, was a little scared to have just a plain white card. It didn't photograph as well as I would have liked, so hopefully you can get the idea of what I was going for. Looks much better in person.

Stamps: Paper Smooches
Dies: MFT Dienamics, Memory Box
Punches: Variety flower punches
Paper: GKD heavy weight white
Bling: CTMH

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Pink Gem Challenge Blog - Flowers
One Stop Craft - Anything Goes
Fussy and Fancy - Anything Goes
Make It Monday - Always Anything Goes :)

Have a great week!

Hello everyone! It's been awhile since I've had time to sit down and post any cards, so I thought I'd share a couple of Thanksgiving cards I gave away.

The first card was created using a retired leaf set from CTMH and the greeting stamp is from Paper Smooches. Kraft cardstock is Gina K. The second card is all CTMH using the new Avonlea paper and a coodinating stamp set. Thanks sentiment is from another CTMH stamp set.
